11/22/2025 – Potluck for People, Peace & Planet & Day 2 of Fall of Freedom in Madison, WI!
The goals for this and other Building Unity Gatherings include sharing fellowship, food, and information about peace, justice, sustainability, and democracy opportunities and to explore the possibilities for collaboration.
Unlike most BUGs, this month’s Potluck for People Peace & Planet will feature a fairly quick potluck starting at 6:00 pm followed by a Fall of Freedom concert at 7:00 pm. The first act will be “MaD Mentchen“ – the folk rock duo of Michale Bell and Dan Grabois. The second act will be Tani Diakite and the Afrofunkstars. There will be dancing!
We thank the James Reeb UU Congregation as well as the performing artists for their generous contribution to this very exciting and inspiring event!
This event will be free, &, donations will be welcome to help us cover our costs. Thank you.

This will be a potluck gathering but if bringing a food item to share doesn’t work well for you for any reason, please come without bringing any food. There will be plenty. (We often have extra food so feel free to bring “to-go containers” to help excess food find a good home.)
