WHO WE ARE

Building Unity 4 Nonviolent Action

Building Unity 4 Nonviolent Action (BU4NVA) is a coalition of peace, justice, sustainability, and democracy groups, unions, communities of faith and/or conscience, neighbors, and other human groupings uniting to get our community organized, trained, and ready to respond nonviolently to the current cruel and criminal U.S. governmental actions and policies.

Our Goal:

Our goals are to create a responsive, united network of nonviolent action teams that will promote learning about and practicing nonviolent direct action to protest and resist the violence affecting our communities and neighbors.

Nonviolent Action Teams – small, trusted groups of friends, coworkers, neighbors, or fellow congregants – who stay connected, look out for one another, and show up safely and nonviolently when it matters.

You choose who you’re with, and there’s no obligation to act every time. Teams simply receive action alerts, and members respond when and how they’re able. This is how we stop “going it alone” and build a movement that includes everyone.

If you are part of a larger group interested in becoming a Member-Hub within the United Nonviolent Action Network, or if you are an individual wanting to learn more about this initiative, please fill out the form at the following link here.
