A Call to Action Weekend Part 1 – Acting in Courage During Uncertain Times: A Call for Nonviolent Action by Faith and Conscience Leaders
We are pulling together faith, civic, and community leaders of all types and are planning for a big show of unity with A Call to Action Weekend. Three events in three days will help bring more volunteers into our coalition’s efforts to get organized to better increase our community’s readiness to respond to threats of violence in Wisconsin. This is the 1st out of 3 events.
Part 1: February 20, 6-9 PM – Acting in Courage During Uncertain Times: A Call for Nonviolent Action by Faith and Conscience Leaders – Join us for an evening where a panel of faith and conscience leaders will share their wisdom, guidance, and calls to action during these troubling times. The event will begin at 6:00 PM with snacks and refreshments, followed by a panel discussion at 7:00 PM. This discussion will be moderated by the Honorable Rev. Everett Mitchell and Rev. David Hart, featuring elected leaders. The event will take place at Lake Edge Lutheran Church, located at 4032 Monona Drive, Madison, WI 53716.
